You do know Richard Ferry was sued for his image of hope. That is why fan art is generally not sold as prints but whatever. It is weird the technical nature of photo manipulation. You may want to at least credit your source image.
did you change it 80%, idk. I am no lawyer but I would say copyright law is at least as complicated as bird law.
I would credit your source image. I it may help. but you selling this as a print is possibly subject to things you don't want to deal with. I make fan art to bring people in but I have my own art I sell. You may be able to get away with this but is one of those bird law cases. I just don't know.
